New Business Cards!

Posted on August 18, 2009 at 8:10pm / Filed under: Miscellaneous / 6 comments

It's been a while since I've updated my business cards, but I just recently was hit with inspiration to design some new ones.

So after some Photoshop work, and a simple checkout at MOO, I've got some great new little personal marketing materials to hand out to potential clients, colleagues, and employers… or to drop in the occasional "win a free lunch" bucket at the local Thai restaurant or Chipotle.

Very nice…..I want one!

Will make sure to get you one Chip :)

Also, I’m curious as to what others think about the tagline: “Pretty. Simple. Web Sites.” Any thoughts on that? I thought of it as kind of a way of breaking up the statement “I make pretty simple Web sites.”

Too late to change it now though, haha.

Beautiful.

I’m often tempted to design and print some of my own… but I think mine would be pretty much only ever used for the win free stuff buckets. ;)

Very nice design.  I just finished updating mine as well, and I also used the ‘social icon’ connects to make it easy for people to reach out to me.  The good, bad, and ugly is that many people want to connect for future business, but may just drop your card in a pile (unless you provide such info) - great job on ‘design’ + recognizing ‘marketing’ importance.

BTW - Ask Scot at http://dbanana.com (Richmond, Va) how you can print a set of your cards with various images, text, or samples on the front of each card.  It’s a creative way to have a mini-portfolio in your pocket.  I like variety.

what are your thoughts on Moo’s printing quality?  Any noticeable issues with the cuts (not aligned perfectly)?

@Nate: I would rate the print quality about a 3 out of 5. It’s good, but not excellent. Certainly better than printing your own at home on nice paper, but not as good as having a local print shop do something for you. However, for what you pay, it’s a great deal. Cuts seem to be pretty good as well.

And, I’ve always figured that if the print quality was overly fantastic, I would never want to give any of my cards away, haha.

Hope that helps!
