Oh Yay, Another Blog on the Web

Yep, that's right, although this one may be a little late to the party. But I say better to arrive late than to leave early. Think about that for a bit…

So why even bother with a blog at this point? There's so much information out there on Web design and development that there's probably nothing new that I can bring to the table. That's probably mostly true, but it never hurts to have even more info available for the masses—especially in such a dynamic field of focus. My goal is not to write about revolutionary ideologies or to dissect Web technologies with excruciating detail. In fact, most of the future entries of this blog will hopefully only take about five minutes to read.

Great expectations

As I stated above, I don't plan on writing a thesis here. What I would like to do is present my own thoughts and opinions on all different aspects of the Web, including methodologies, technologies, and tools. I also plan on doing a number of tutorial-style entries, mostly focusing on my own strong points (such as ExpressionEngine and jQuery).

I also hope to get some community involvement though the use of the comment system I've put in place—because after all, what good are opinions if there is nobody to agree or disagree with them? Stay tuned for more entries coming soon, and make sure to grab the RSS feed to stay up to date!
